Renardet is seeking for an Under Water Inspector with the experience in construction and supervision of under water works of break water and other marine works.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carries out the tasks assigned by designated Engineer in a diligent and effective manner, meeting deadlines and avoiding errors.
• Shows initiative by suggesting to their superior alternative and/or innovative methods of executing the tasks assigned while demonstrating a proactive attitude.
• Reviews plans in order to ensure they meet construction codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations.
• Inspecting and ensuring that water contaminants are kept within acceptable limits and that water sources are safe for public consumption and use.
• Inspecting water sources and evaluating the contaminants in those supplies.
• Taking recommendations to improve the quality of the water.
• Performing fit tests and regulating air sampling.
• Implements and maintains Company’s policies and other quality and environment systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum High Secondary Education or higher.
• Diving License
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar professional context (construction and supervision of under water works of break water and other marine works).
• Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).

The project involves undertaking Construction and Design Review services of Fish Landing Centre in different areas of Dhofar Governorate. Mobilization of construction contractor is estimated to be 14 days initially while execution period is set to be 15 months maximum excluding maintenance period of 12 months.
