JOB DESCRIPTION
Core Responsibilities:
1. Site Management: Serve as the chief engineering authority on-site, ensuring that all construction activities align with design specifications and quality standards.
2. Quality Control: Implement and oversee rigorous quality control measures to ensure top-notch quality of materials and workmanship.
3. Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any engineering and construction challenges that arise during the execution of the project.
4. Document Verification: Review, validate, and approve contractor submissions, including design plans, schedules, and periodic reports.
5. Coordination: Foster effective communication and collaboration with the Project Director, the head office, and the supervision team to align all activities with overarching project objectives.
6. Safety Oversight: Guarantee complete compliance with occupational safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
7. Reporting: Generate detailed status updates, which include activity summaries, risk evaluations, and project forecasts.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Academic: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is essential. Additional certifications in Project Management or related areas will be highly advantageous.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 20 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering, focusing on water supply projects. At least 10 years should be in a supervisory or resident engineer role on sizable projects.
Other Specifications:
