JOB DESCRIPTION
Core Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision: Oversee the construction activities related to structural components such as water reservoirs and pump stations, ensuring alignment with approved designs and quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement and manage quality control procedures to assure the structural integrity and durability of specialized components like reservoirs and pump stations.
Consultation & Coordination: Work closely with the Project Director, Resident Engineer, and Quantity Surveyor to ensure structural components are built according to project specifications and standards.
Issue Resolution: Swiftly identify and resolve any structural issues that may arise during the construction phase, particularly in water reservoirs and pump stations.
Documentation: Maintain detailed engineering documents pertinent to the construction phase, including compliance reports, checklists, and as-built drawings.
Team Coordination: Foster effective communication and coordination with the head office and the supervisory team for successful project execution.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering is mandatory. Additional certifications in Project Management are advantageous.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in Structural Engineering, with specific expertise in water supply projects that include water reservoirs and pump stations. At least 5 years must be in a supervisory or managerial role.
Other Specifications:
Willingness to relocate, if required.
Must hold a valid engineering license.
