Core Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Systems Supervision: Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems related to water supply infrastructure.
2. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all electrical installations meet industry and safety standards.
3. Consultation & Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Director, Resident Engineer, and other team members to ensure that the electrical systems are aligned with the overall project goals.
4. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve electrical issues that may arise during the project life cycle, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and quality.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed electrical system documents, including designs, compliance checks, and operation manuals.
6. Team Coordination: Coordinate with the head office and the supervision team to ensure a unified approach to project execution.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Academic: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. Advanced degrees or certifications would be advantageous.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on water supply projects. At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role is required.

Other Specifications:

• Willingness to relocate if necessary.
• Must possess a valid engineering license.

Skill Set Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in electrical systems as they relate to water supply infrastructure, including but not limited to pump stations, water treatment facilities, and distribution networks.
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and project management.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective coordination and documentation.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in electrical design and simulation software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar tools.
