JOB DESCRIPTION
Core Responsibilities:
SCADA System Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems related to the water supply project.
Instrumentation Supervision: Manage the specification, installation, and calibration of instrumentation related to water supply systems.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that SCADA and instrumentation systems meet industry standards and project specifications.
Consultation & Coordination: Work closely with the Project Director, Resident Engineer, and other engineering disciplines to ensure SCADA and instrumentation systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall project.
Issue Resolution: Promptly identify and troubleshoot any issues with SCADA and instrumentation systems to minimize impact on the project.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records, including system configurations, calibration logs, and compliance documentation.
Team Coordination: Liaise effectively with the head office and the supervision team to ensure a unified approach to project execution.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Academic: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field is essential. Additional certifications focused on SCADA or Instrumentation are highly advantageous.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years in the SCADA and Instrumentation sector, with a specific focus on water supply projects. At least 5 years must be in a supervisory or managerial role.
Other Specifications:
Willingness to relocate, if required for the project.
Must possess a valid engineering license.
