  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The project is comprised of 6 small flood protection dams located in Mutrah area - Muscat. The structures were designed as gravity dams and constructed of concrete. Each dam is provided with spillway and some of them were provided with stilling basins. The scope of the work is to maintaine the dams, provide the structures with new drainge systems, cleaning the existing drains, provide handrails and repaire the damaged waterstop. Dam no. 6 required 4 nos of anchors to increase the stability of the structure.

    1) Supervision the daily activities drilling, drains, cleaning etc
    2) Coordinate with the Client and the Contractor
    3) Attend weekly progress meeting
    4) Modify and approve the required ammendments of the drawings
    5) Quantity surveying
    6) Supervising the test of anchors and the erection as per the drawings
