    This road is a ?Design & Built Project? connecting the village of Wadi Hilti to the main road to Sohar. The purpose of the road is to serve the various settlements along the alignment who are currently using the existing unpaved track along which, in several occasion during the rainy season, traffic is disrupted because of the mud and the high water level at the many wadi crossings. The road runs through mountainous terrain and consists of a two lane carriageway; it also includes three bridges and several single to multicell drainage structures. The total length of the road is about 33 km.
