The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Republic of Yemen has decided to implement to carryout construction of different components. The construction of the project is financed by Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. The authority responsible for the construction of the project under the jurisdiction of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Hadhramout Governorate. The project activities cover nine Directorates they are located mostly in the coastal area. Names of the nine directorates are: Wadi Hajr, Yaba'ath, Al-Mukalla, Al-Shaer, Aryaaf Al-Mukalla, Al-Dies Al-Sharqieah, Al-Reydah-Qoosier, Gheyal Bawazer and Broom-Mayfa'ah. The purpose of the Project is to increase the productivity of agriculture, animal husbandry, and apiculture in the project areas.
1) Data collection
2) Design review, design modification and recommendations of design modification
3) Detailed topographical survey and Geotechnical Survey
4) Preliminary Design: Hydrology & Hydraulic design, Geotechnical Investigation, Structure Analysis, Environmental considerations
5) Studying of the catchment areas's degradation, Seismic Analysis and Initial Cost Estimate
6) Detailed Design, Final Tender Documents and Cost Estimates.
7) Tender Analysis and assisting the Client for negotiations and signing of the various contracts with Contractors
