    Renardet and Associates were appointed to evaluate several sites along Wadis in Buraimi and Mahdha Wilayats in terms of technical economical and social considerations and prepare detailed designs and tender documentation for the two preferred sites in consultation with the Client. The work involved the evaluation of at least 12 dam sites and their evaluation to determine the best options

     

  • Description:

    1) Project coordination with the Ministry and involved international Consultant
    2) Surveying of the entire area of the dam reservoir, down stream area for dam break analysis.
    3) Agri-economic evaluation of the dams
    4) Complete feasibility study of the final dams
    5) Detailed hydrological study including rainfall-runoff analysis, design floods, PMP, PMF, etc.
    6) Geotechnical investigation
    7) Assessment of the hydrogeological characteristics of the sites and evaluation of recharge capacities
    8) Environmental Impact Assessment
    9) Detailed Design of the dam, outlet works and spillway of the selected sites
    10) Assessment of affected properties.
    11) Compile tender drawings and specifications.
    12) Construction supervision
