  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    Main objective of this project is to study the condition of existing bridges and retaining walls in the Sultanate of Oman and suggest suitable rehabilitation measures. Scope includes but not limited to data collection, data analysis and review of existing studies, bridge inspections, finalization of treatment types and remedial measures.

     

  • Description:

    1) Preparation of rehabilitation measures from the data collected in the form of traffic studies, load tests, axle load surveys, visual inspections followed by detailed investigation
    2) Present/required drainage system, condition of protection works, evaluation of concrete strength, presence of cloride/sulphates, carbonation and concrete cover survey
    3) Preliminary design , Detailing, preparation of Cost Estimate /Tender document
    4) Construction supervision
